Czech/Slovak model 1929 helmet with sharp rim and German style "salt shaker" air vents. Original Czech black pebbeled leather liner, it's attached by the shell with German rivets, wich denotes a refurbishment during the time that the Germans occupied Czech and Slovakia. This helmet was probably used by auxiliary services collaborating with the Germans, or re-issued for Luftschutz use.

Czech/Slovak model 1929 helmet with rolled rim and German style "salt shaker" air ventsadditional comb wich gives it a "French" look. Helmet has different paint layers and was probably another color before it's wartime use. The liner is made out of 4 canvas pouches attached to a fiber liner band. The chinstrap is the typical Czech version with cutted out chinstrap part.

Czech model 1932 helmet, reissued to Luftschutz, the front decal remains partially. Five pad leather liner and replacement chinstrap oribably added by Luftschutz member/quartermaster. The original brown/khaki paint peeks trough where the Luftschutz repaint has lost it's color. Shell is ink stamped S-D-H 38, wich means it was produced by the Sandrik company in Dolne Harne in 1938

Czech model 1932 type helmet, repainted black and re-issued to the Dutch civil defence/Luftschutz during the 2nd world war. In the neck can be found a rare addition of a typical Dutch feature, the small neckstrap/neckguard. Most of the rivets retaining the liner have been replaced by Dutch type of rivets. The liner is also a rarely seen variation, not beiing the comon tan or white leather, but dyed in black.

Czech model 1932 helmet, reissued for Luftschutz by the Germans. The helmet was repainted in the standard ypical dark/petrol blue for Luftschutz, paint loss shows the original army color of the helmet. It has the original Czech army chinstrap with open chincup part. The stamps in the helmet read: Bratri G&B Brno (Gottlied&Brauchba) 1938
